Used to be essential listening, with great back and forth between a policymaker and academic on the issues of the day. Doesn’t work as a solo pod, and the trend lately to split every episode into a range of points doesn’t work. Please get a new cohost and go back to the old formula. Audio quality has been very bad the last few episodes too
This used to be a great podcast to understand how Australia operates in the world but now it’s just the host ranting about his issues with Trump. Would prefer understand how Australia operates in the modern environment rather than this hack just complain for 30minutes.
Great, intelligent yet accessible insights into what’s happening in the world. A focus on Australia but very good analysis relevant to many audiences.
This show is really unique and insightful on how international relations theory meets the real world.
Darren keeps giving us a clear and deep analysis of this war between a vicious narcissist with no objective and a malign theocracy which values martyrdom above all else.
