Anyone who has the mental stamina and tolerance to sit down and interview Strawman arrogantly waffle on about nothing deserves 5 stars. Matt is a complete genius for having this ability. Who knows what the content was (I don’t have the tolerance to listen) but Matt deserves a medal. All his other eps are outstanding and I can vouch for them.
One half of the host for the first and last episode I will listen to is so privileged he can’t believe women would ever want to work for a living. On what planet do we live on again and what century? His friends and family must all be country bumpkins that hate independent women. Literally cannot finish the episode. There are better FIRE podcasts that get offensive or personal. They just talk financial knowledge and literacy.
Top quality content.
Great show with interesting and diverse topics.
It’s great to hear stories from people on their way to FI.
I’m so grateful that I have found this podcast and some real life advice on how to get more out of my wealth. I’m late to the FIRE movement at 35yo but I have been actively building wealth since finishing university at 22. This podcast has given me the confidence to make some changes and get out of the rat race.
Only recently started listening to you starting right back from episode 1. I just skipped ahead when I seen the thumbnail of this episode. As a dad myself this episode made me cry sounds like you’ve got everything mate thanks for your inspiration so far
