Audio angling is a series of podcast interviews recorded with the great and good of angling, all recorded and produced by me (Dr. Phill Williams) in addition to a number of free download angling history books available on YouTube & Facebook, as well as being archived at Angling Heritage, the Angling Trust and the British Library. These can also be downloaded and read via Smashwords and Kindle.
Not to be patronizing, but this podcast - even if you’re not fishing in the UK - is an interesting bit of audio tourism to an American like me as I imagine myself wrapped up for winter on a blustery shingle beach with two 14’ surf rods on a tripod, boiling water for tea over a camping stove. Informative and escapist.
Top class interviews all on great topics
We all need more.
I have listened to them all lots of times full of tips and tricks and general info + lots of good conservation topics as well.
Well worth listening to
Thank you
The guy interviewing has as much personality as a plank of wood, and who the hell is Tommy Flour?
Absolutely gripping totally brilliant !!!
Just love it, especially as the breadth of interviewees increases
Brilliant podcasts with some great guests. I often find myself sat outside my home listening until the end of a podcast before I go in. Some of the podcasts I didn't think would appeal to me have surprised me by being really interesting. And Phill Williams isn't afraid of asking difficult questions sometimes.
Great, informative podcasts that are downloaded and listened to instead of the 'durge' on the radio most mornings, even the sea fishing ones (never taken my fancy) - nice to listen too while preparing my fish and game. Thanks.
