United States10 months ago From discovering the show back in 2008, I was enchanted by the character of Sherwin Sleeves and his distinct, narrative voice. It became incredibly influential to my own work as a writer. His ability to birth a sense of mystery and intrigue into the normal aspects of everyday life is impeccable, and he possesses an incredible narrative emotional range. I can't recommend the series highly enough. Episode 5 is a great place to start to get a sample of what the show offers. Listen to this podcast.

I listened to the first few episodes thinking "what *is* this?!" I've never heard anything quite like it before. It took me a little while to get into it, but after a few episodes something clicked and I started really loving it. It can be kind of slow sometimes, but usually in a good way. I admit I skipped a lot of the episodes that were just Sean and his friend talking, but I love the Sherwin Sleeves episdes.
