Worst take I’ve ever heard. Nobody except Michigan and the Patriots have had an illegal scouting scandal. It is not common behavior to have an assistant coach in disguise as a member of another team’s coaching staff to scout opponents.

Saying ESPN doesn’t have bias in favor of the teams they have broadcast rights with is disingenuous. “Leaving out Notre Dame cost them money” — this is not true when the other teams in question were Miami and Alabama — 2 large brands, one of which (Alabama), arguably draws an even larger audience than ND. ESPN campaigned for the teams they have exclusive broadcast rights with and against the one they did not. This happened live during games and during their shows all week. The Cover 2 pod was my go to CFB pod. This rebrand is not good. Both hosts just talk down about the non-bluebloods. There are better pods now. These guys never evolved
