  • Makes you want to watch the movie

Even if you haven’t seen the movie they’re discussing, Jordan and Janine make you want to watch it. This show is so good it would last at least three days in the Scorch

  • Great Cinema Conversation

Ever have a conversation with your best friend about an older movie you just watched again? That’s Bowman and J9. Such a fun way to revisit box office leaders from a decade ago. Love listening to these two colorful characters.

  • This podcast makes me feel old

But at least the older I feel the less self-conscious I am about people seeing me laughing like a maniac alone in my car while I listen to it on my commute.

  • Fresh takes and the benefit of time!

Truly a masterpiece of a concept. Only a genius could come up with this cinematic podcast. Can you imagine being able to watch Crash 10 years later and hand out your own awards?! I can’t believe I hadn’t reviewed sooner. Bowman and Janine and my favorite hosting pair (sorry Chris, you’re fun too). They have great laughs and do fun things. Listen and enjoy!

  • Timeless!

Hands down my favourite podcast. Bowman and J9 are an absolute delight. It makes my day when a new episode drops. Plus, you can listen back to old episodes and they never get old.

My only critique is I still cannot believe Bowman only gave Inception 16.5/17..

You gotta listen to this podcast guys, you got to..

  • Unsung hero of the podcast world

I discovered this podcast when looking for some commentary on 2004’s Collateral. I was laughing during that first episode as I shared many of the opinions. I’ve since listened to about half the episodes and working my way through the rest. Jordan and Janine have good chemistry and both seem like nice people. My favourite thing about this podcast is that even if I didn’t watch the movie being reviewed I still like the episode (which I find is not true for most review podcasts). Give it a listen; ... more

My favourite movie review podcast! Even better than the very similar 19.5 years at the movies later.

  • Best podcast ever?

My favourite podcast of all time. And I’ve been listening to podcasts for an entire week. ”J.” and Janine play off each other very well, and it sure doesn’t hurt that he and I have seemingly identical movie tastes, so I find myself laughing a lot while listening, to the point where I’ve had a coughing fit from laughing unexpectedly. If you’re a movie-goer, or were a decade ago, this is the podcast you need AND deserve.

  • A sucker for nostalgia

Great podcast. Super entertaining. Love the 300 second recap, The Tensies and the huge doses of nostalgia, even if it’s only 10 years old.

  • How Art Vouz?

I love this podcast in all its incarnations. I have been a listener for years and can say that I’m never bored or disappointed. I am really sorry for the circumstances that allow Janine and J Bow to post more frequently but, I am certainly glad to have more content. I check for uploads weekly now (very spoiled).Stay safe in the Canadas and thanks for the wonderful shows.
