  • My favorite podcast on podcasting!

I try to tune into the live version of the show each Saturday morning (7:30am my time) can be a bit tricky at times. So I always listen to the podcast later. I remember the old radio shows with live callers and questions - this feels exactly like that but about podcasting.

    Fantastic work, love it!

  • A fun community to spend Saturday morning with

I’ve been a big fan of this Saturday morning live show for the last few years. Dave and Jim always bring their A game, delivering helpful advice on podcasting. You can even dial into the show via video to join the conversation that way if the mood strikes you. Several episodes have helped with specific challenges I have had as a beginner podcaster. The chat room is always teeming with conversation, and I have made friends with several people in there.

Different Episodic Artwork YAY or NAY?
Q: Should I have custom artwork for each episode?
Custom artwork can enhance the visual appeal of your podcast feed but isn't crucial to attract listeners. It's more about the art and if you enjoy creating it.
Capturing and Resizing Clips
Q: How do you go about collecting soundbites for your podcast?
I use a program for downloading from YouTube, organize everything in folders, and make good use of a cloud storage service to keep it all accessible.
Successful Podcast Strategies for Hyper Niche Markets
Q: If you had $100 an episode, where would you stick that money?
Consider advertising in other podcasts with a similar target audience to gain listeners.
WordPress Woes and When is AI Too Much AI?
Q: If I have an idea for a new show, should I start a new podcast or weave episodes into my current one?
It's better to test the idea within your current podcast first and gauge audience feedback before launching a new show.
WordPress Woes and When is AI Too Much AI?
Q: Do you think AI can be too much for content creation?
Yes, if over-reliance on AI tools leads to diminishing human touch and creativity in content.
