Shana Tova from Chaya Leah’s kitchen table! It is not even 8am, and she already peeled 400 apples, made 200 matza balls, and skinned 3 chickens. I am sitting here trying to stay out of the way while working on our business aka this podcast. It’s very... more

They consistently find new ways to un-gaslight me. I didn’t feel too Jewish before October 7. Then I like all Jews was thrown into his ancient struggle. Which has only been made bearable by shows like this! come for the solidarity, stay for the holocaust jokes.
These women run the gamut, funny, wonky, touching, heartbreaking. It’s been that kind of a year (and a half). Some pods, it’s like I’m back with my high school girlfriends. Since I’m on the secular side, I have to say how surprising I’ve found Chaya Leah’s take on many things. I especially loved the Mother’s Day episode.
I absolutely love this show!! The episodes where Chaya Leah and Yael talk to each other is like listening in on a phone call between 2 of my bff’s. The interview episodes are always informative and often introduce me to new people. Bonus points for interviewing Eli Lake and Blake Fleyton (both of whom I did know). I always have a lot of podcasts in my queue, but when there is a new episode of AAJ, I listen immediately! Thanks for being a bright light in a dark time.❤️
It’s been incredible to discover a podcast, and hosts, who can seamlessly and masterfully make their way from the darkest, most challenging subjects to the silly. We have to laugh, now more than ever, and your show never disappoints. Thank you!
