Love the show and the hosts. Keep up the great work

Oh boy, Vietnam is like a scab the never heals hearing that name. I was 17 CBS NBC journalist were
embedded with soldiers then playing on the TV at dinner time.
There are two distinct photos embossed in my memory recall. Making a 50 year follow up documentary with the young girl sounds quite fascinating. Nils Q&A sessions were spot on with such a touchy subject. The ending with ceremony giving rest to her father’s spirit as well as her spirit. Superb!

BIG FAN
As an American, I’ve been listening to AIH for years, and I love the Canadian approach to US news. Thanks.
You know you’ll get some silly stories and some serious ones but beyond that it’s anyone’s guess. Wish they did a better job of uploading it on time.

A quick-hitting, multi-segment news program that blends hard-hitting current events with lighter or human-interest pieces. Episodes routinely pair on-the-ground reporting and expert context on topics like hate crimes, policy shifts, and global issues with character-driven interviews and cultural features. Notable strengths include a broad topic palette that connects local incidents to larger policy and societal trends, plus a characteristic mix of seriousness, warmth, and humor. A good fit for listeners who want both deep context and approachable storytelling, with a distinctly Canadian perspective that still covers international angles. This show often features policymakers, researchers, and practitioners who bring concrete insights to tim... more
