  • So glad I found this.

I’m not sure how I came across this podcast but I’m so glad I did. The first episode I ever listened to (not sure the episode number) but was about “Open Handedness”

It was inspiring and motivating in the most gentleness of ways.

The writing was beautiful, the music, the words, all of it filled my soul and I felt like I was listening to a meditation.

These pod casts are wonderful because they really create an environment to reflect. As you listen there’s something else happening in your brain... more

257: Throwback: Harmony vs. Hustle
Q: What do you think of typing my morning pages?
Typing can be a valid form of morning pages if it keeps you coming back to the practice, but consider setting a timer to ensure a sufficient amount of reflection time.
249: Joy Session: Self-Judgment (Alicia)
Q: How can I hold you accountable in moving towards this direction of getting this plot outline done?
Alicia wants to be asked if she has spent time on an outline while thinking about writing to herself.
249: Joy Session: Self-Judgment (Alicia)
Q: What do you want coaching on today?
Alicia wants help working through her transition from academic to non-academic writing, specifically into fiction.
243: Joy Session: Finding Your Voice When Life Changes (Rachel)
Q: What fears come up about motherhood, because I feel like there's some fears here that I think it might be helpful to name with your voice and how you see yourself as a mother, but not losing that voice?
Rachel expresses a fear that motherhood will consume her time and attention, making it harder to carve out creative space.
231: Summer Enneagram Throwback: 2s
Q: What do you wish other numbers knew about twos?
I would ask other numbers to be patient with us and extend grace as we verbally process our feelings and experiences; that twos love to help and often do not recognize their efforts being taken for granted.
