I’ve absolutely loved listening to Merelise interview a variety of guests and give them such grace as they speak about their birth experiences. From medicated hospital births, caesareans, to home births, this podcast is covering all of the different birthing experiences! Before this podcast, I had never truly considered what a home birth or even an unmedicated birth looked like. This podcast has cracked open that world for me and is scratching an itch I didn’t even know I had! Cannot recommend e... more
I love birth podcasts but I have had such a hard time finding one that I truly love and want to follow along with. Merelise has such a calm demeanor and is such a great host. Can’t wait to binge all of the episodes.
I just found this podcast last week and love hearing these stories. Each mom's story is unique and Merelise always has such wonderful questions to ask them. She is also super acceptintg to all types of births which is wonderful. I love hearing from pregnancy to afterbirth recovery stories. It's so insightful and educational to learn from real experiences! Mother's are truly amazing!
Merelise does a great job featuring all types of birth stories. While she’s open about having unmedicated births herself, she doesn’t project that bias onto others. I find many other birth podcasts glorify the unmedicated birth and as someone who had an epidural and cesarean, it’s nice to hear representation. Merelise asks thoughtful questions and has such a warm demeanor. I’m looking forward to more episodes!
Each episode has been a breath of fresh air. Love hearing birth stories and women sharing their experiences. Keep em coming!
