  • Ron Butler fan from his guesting on others shows.

Nothing financial happens in a vacuum which is why listening to the Angry Mortgage is valuable, even if you don’t have a mortgage. Ron Butler is the most knowledgeable voice in the business! I’m also a practitioner of salty language so hearing it’s liberal application makes me smile. Don’t change!

Special Guest Rob Campbell- Mortgage Broker at Premiere Mortgage | EP. 167
Q: How should borrowers think about fixed versus variable rates in the current environment?
Fixed rates act as a canary for the variable; if you're buying for a short period, a fixed rate may be safer, but many guests suggest that locking in at a historically higher fixed rate might still be prudent depending on how long you plan to stay and the path of future rate moves.
Special Guest Rob Campbell- Mortgage Broker at Premiere Mortgage | EP. 167

Renewals are the dominant conversation this year, with many clients needing to refinance or fix debt, while a solid segment still aims to enter the market, despite affordability challenges driven by high prices and rates.
Special Guest Jeremiah Shamess | EP. 126
Q: What do you think about the current state of the development market?
Jeremiah indicates that the market has seen significant corrections with markdowns of 40% to 70% from highs.
