Gives you an interesting and honest perspective. Anyone that listens to CBC needs to listen to these guys. As with any podcast, you chew the meat and spit out the bones.
There is good financial content here, but it is undermined by out-of-place, immature, and unnecessary commentary. The comment about girls in spring adds no value to your show. For a show about money, that’s a problem. If you want to reach a wider audience, raise the level of the conversation.
Loving all the great discussions!
Always insightful! Thank you.
Really enjoy the honesty, and deep dives into issues , such as housing and lack of oil and gas investment in Canada. I also enjoy the banter ;)
Well done guys! I never miss this - every Friday. Best place for any and all news for me every week. Appreciate the thoughtful breakdown of your content!

A Canadian macroeconomics show that blends data-driven market analysis with candid policy discussion and light banter. The hosts repeatedly connect global events—oil, energy policy, housing, and inflation—with domestic outcomes for Canadians, often scrutinizing government programs and regulatory shifts. A notable pattern is skeptical takes on energy decarbonization and housing interventions, paired with practical investor guidance and real-world housing market anecdotes. The show stands out for its energetic host dynamics, accessible yet sharp analysis, and frequent guest appearances by oil, housing, and legal experts that bring specialized perspectives to Canadian policy and markets.
