We say goodbye to our girl Rebecca with labor unions, dangerous sleepovers, and a well-aimed rock that may have caused a TBI! Changes for Rebecca is another delightfully unhinged addition to the "changes" legacy of books, and boy, do we have some tho... more
It's summertime and the living's easy! We kick off the season of fun with a boy becoming a man, egg salad on the beach, and a theme park that seems...mean! Rebecca goes to Coney Island for thrills, chills, and... spills from a 50-foot ladder? It's a ... more

I found your podcast earlier this year and am flying through the episodes! These are so much fun! It takes me right back to being a young girl flipping through the catalog! I got my first doll in 2021 at the age of 38. My parents could not afford something so lavish as a gift. I'm so glad I now have an older Samantha doll and we enjoy each others company! Keep up these episodes, they help my daily walk fly by! Good thing I live in the country because some of your remarks make me laugh out... more
I got Kirsten 30+ years ago when there were only the original three dolls (Kirsten, Samantha, and Molly). While I remember Felicity and Addy being added to the group I didn’t know much about them and know virtually nothing about the others after them. This podcast makes me feel like I’m 10 again. I love revisiting the original three (my elementary school bff had Samantha and I read all the books for her and Molly) and I am so into learning about the others. Love listening to these ladies dig in... more
I was enjoying the pod, but the second the Munchhausen by Proxy accusations in Kit’s story began I cackled out loud on the stationary bike in the gym. 10/10 observation. I’m in for whatever you put out now.

As an avid AG doll girlie, the books were admittedly low interest for me as a kid. Now I’ve been reading the American Girl books to my daughter at bedtime, so the podcast has been a great companion as we’ve just rounded the corner on Samantha’s series. I’ve found myself LOLing at the pod’s takes and choice words for most hated characters (ahem Eddie Ryland). Nice format, great pace!
