Wish this podcast had been around 4 years ago when I was at “peak sandwich” feeling completely overwhelmed, stressed out and on my own. The advice and guidance around aged care is invaluable. Essential listening for anyone dealing with the competing needs of ageing parents, work and family. It will inform you but also, just as importantly, make you laugh.
This conversations on this pod have been key to enable me to cope emotionally in the last year, juggling two divorced parents with end of life health conditions, my own business, 12 year old and partner with poor health. I no longer feel inadequate isolated.
Agehood is a beautifully produced, honest, and deeply moving podcast about ageing, caregiving, and everything in between. The stories are real, the insights are powerful, and the tone is warm and comforting. A must-listen for anyone navigating the challenges of caring for loved ones.
Thank god for this show! I’ve been needing something like this in my life

Real-life stories, tools, and community-focused resources are highlighted, with a strong emphasis on communicating with family, planning ahead, and leveraging social and support networks.
