  • Sharp and entertaining

Clever conversations about data science with a nice amount of friction between them.

  • Could use some polish

It could use a bit more planning/effort in preparation of a general thesis to each episode as well as at least a few talking points to help keep things moving. This would help prevent the conversation from meandering too much. more

  • An amusing ramble through a few data science topics and a lot of random stuff

It's like a conversation with friends at the pub. Light hearted, a few detours but ultimately a straight shooting discussion of all things data.

  • Comfortable and substantive

The hosts and guests are genuine and have an organic conversation as if we aren't even there. Pretty good balance between the day-to-day realities of data science vs technical details, and there's not a lot of fetishizing the latest tech trends. more

  • Great discussions, but...

When they get into the actual details of particular technology, techniques, or methods, it's *really* great and I learn a great deal. But a lot of the time they sound like smart, snarky kids teasing dumber kids. As successful professionals, they should be able to avoid this: when life is going well, there's no reason to be mean and snarky.
