I am a 45 yo domestic infant adoptee. I am finally starting to work on healing and understanding how adoption has affected me. I’ve bounced around to several adoption focused podcasts to help me learn and this one is by far the best I’ve come across. The host is amazing; very intelligent, well spoken, and knowledgeable about the subject. It shouldn’t matter that much but she is also a very talented broadcaster. Not to mention also a very effective interviewer. I’ve been working my way through al... more
Lori Holden’s podcast is able to hold ALL the complexities of adoption. Both the joy and the grief. The connection and the severing. Highly recommend this quality adoptee-centered podcast!
I just listened to episode 308 with guest Lynn Brown. I am an adoptive mom but I do not have the added challenge of trans or intra racial adoption. Just listening to Lynn provided and incredible perspective. She is so grounded and I learned much from her. Thank you for sharing Lynn !
This podcast is so informative and challenging! Lori interveiws guests and provides a 360 view of adoption. It is complicated. I have learned that keeping focus on the child as the North Star and keeping an open heart helps navigate this complex journey. I learn somthing with every episode. I am halfway through season 2 and will make my way though all episodes. It is so worth it!

Her caring way of listening to and meeting people where they are in their stories is beautiful. Her podcast welcomes all corners of the triad to be heard, seen an... more
