Extremely well informed from Hyp. I agree with the previous review however- the constant “you know , like” etc is extremely distracting and makes it hard to listen too. That has to improve to improve the podcast.

  • Great info but . . .

I appreciate the amount of time Hyth puts into to what he does but man it is hard to listen to sometimes. The constant barrage of like, you know, and ums makes it almost unlistenable at times.

Smart dude. But its like he’s trying to set a record for how many times someone can say “Ya know” in 45 min. With “Ya know” and “Like” removed from each pod they’d be about 20 min episodes.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

It Never Rains on this Podcast - Purdue Roster Preview Summer 2026
Q: What's the core expectation for Purdue's offense with the new staff and portal additions?
The hosts expect a more explosive, run-focused offense built around a retooled offensive line, a multi-headed receiving corps with two slot-types (Townsend and Waseem) plus a taller boundary threat (Owens), and a quarterback situation that aims to maximize efficiency while allowing the new play-caller to dictate the progression.
It Never Rains on this Podcast - Northwestern Roster Preview Summer 2026
Q: What do you think about that inference, Charlie? Is Chip Kelly really in control of the offense in Northwestern's setup?
Charlie expresses that while Chip Kelly is the primary architect of the offense, there is still input from Scott Braun's staff on personnel and overall direction; he views it as Chip Kelly's show but with collaborative elements in staff decisions.
It Never Rains on this Podcast 04-24-26
Q: How might Perich fit best in Oregon's defensive scheme given his Minnesota tape?
The guest and host converge on the view that Perich should be used primarily as a high safety who can rescue plays and provide strong pass support, with limited, selective box or blitz responsibilities to avoid negating his elite tackling and angle-calculation instincts.
It Never Rains on this Podcast 02-20-26
Q: What are your thoughts on Dana Altman's future as head coach of the men's basketball team?
While Altman has had a successful career, there are concerns about his ability to adapt to new challenges in college basketball, especially with player retention and the impact of the transfer portal.
It Never Rains on this Podcast 02-20-26
Q: What do you think about the women's basketball team's recent performance?
The team has been entertaining and may not have the best record, but they are competitive and have potential for a strong NCAA tournament appearance.
