Mills is my dad and he has the best time doing this with everybody. It helps prepare him to teach me life lessons on how to own and manage a business.
I prefer the longer format episodes. I feel like I’m not getting as much of a deep dive as what I’m used to and why I fell in love with this show.
Love this podcast - its not often that you get to gatecrash a meeting of business experts to understand if they’ll buy a business and if the bank will finance the purchase. A great mix of opinions, finance info, entrepreneurship and laughs.
The concept of this podcast is fantastic and they’ve had some good episodes over the years, but Bill carries everyone else on his back. In terms of both expertise, insights and entertainment value, none of the other 3 even come close. Michael and Heather especially offer nothing of value to the pod and say the same surface level stuff every time “what’s the moat” “who’s the right buyer” “what’s to stop anyone else from doing this” without offering any interesting angles or ideas.
