  • Go back to longer format

I prefer the longer format episodes. I feel like I’m not getting as much of a deep dive as what I’m used to and why I fell in love with this show.

  • A great listen for those who want to lift the hood on a range of businesses

Love this podcast - its not often that you get to gatecrash a meeting of business experts to understand if they’ll buy a business and if the bank will finance the purchase. A great mix of opinions, finance info, entrepreneurship and laughs.

  • Bill Carries

The concept of this podcast is fantastic and they’ve had some good episodes over the years, but Bill carries everyone else on his back. Michael and Heather especially offer nothing of value to the pod and say the same surface level stuff every time “what’s the moat” “who’s the right buyer” “what’s to stop anyone else from doing this” without offering any interesting angles or ideas. Bill should do ... more

  • Phenomenal podcast

This is a phenomenal podcast that is being ruined by random sound effects (phone text messages, etc) because the hosts can’t seem to put their phones on silent.

Seriously, is this high school? Put your phones on silent when you are recording. Nobody wants to hear a random loud DING that is 2-3x the volume of the voices on the show.

    Please up your production quality.
