Just listened for the first time as it was about one of my favourite bands strangest albums ( other than “Love You” of course 😂). What a great listen ! I follow Giggens on YouTube so he was a brilliant guest. I will be checking out further episodes !
There was a lot going on. Not sure how well I followed it, which I think was due to the writer being all over the place. Just creepy enough to make me finish it though.
I’m sorry for being blunt but... please. This show is like the worst kind of reader insert ever. Because of course a 17yo kid is totally believable impersonating a cop in a strip bar looking for ”young easily impressionable girls” to chat up before chasing a stalker, being suspected of arson, and ending up bent over, tied up and gagged in a BDSM dungeon. For starters.
This is so well written. It's like you're listening to your brother’s college roommate (the one you secretly have a crush on) tell you an amazing story late into the night, in the dark, with only a single candle burning. Generally I listen to radio dramas - with sound effects, different actors etc - but none of those bells and whistles are needed with this excellent podcast.
I regretfully am giving it 3 stars.
Great story 1, engaging narrator 1, leaving me wanting more 1.
An epic and amazing story is lost in the short episodes. As mentioned in other reviews 25 min episodes would get you 5 stars from many listeners. With the intro and outtro many waisted minutes talking about no advertising, I would rather adverting and longer episodes.I had repeatedly listen to episodes a few times to remind me what part of the story i was up too.
