  • Getting harder to listen to

Absolutely love Dave (& Robby) but some episodes just have to get skipped these days. Anything with Scott Horton, the guy just bores me to tears and Dave fluffs him up and down. Other episodes where Dave dedicates the episode to “respond” to what someone said about him on X or another podcast are also painful.

  • Good for a while

Finally unfollowed after there were 2 ad breaks in a 6 minute span. Dave’s right about everything, but after you hear the “remember when I won that debate 6 months ago!” for the eleventh time, you tend to navigate to other shows. Especially with the ads!

  • Progressive Approved

My big gripe with Smith was that he didn’t criticize Trump/the right as much as they deserved. But now he’s shown that he’s capable of doing that. (I knew he was capable years ago, but he’s demonstrated it again.) Principled libertarians are respectable even though they’re wrong 50-70% of the time.
