  • Life changing

I found this through India’s other podcast “Witch,” and dove in as I love her reporting/storytelling style. I didn’t expect to be so moved and motivated by a show about periods! I’ve now listened through multiple times, and this series was part of the reason I went back to school for public health. A beautiful introduction to the untold stories of female body and its social and political power.

I never learned 90% of this in health class, and have had to piece meal this into my adult years, and I still learned new things!! It continues to show how far girls and women have to go to get understanding in the world.

Pros: goes through the entire cycle, so many topics looked into, host has a great voice and the music chosen takes the listener on a path to learning. Really liked lea... more
