I really enjoy and relate to their stories and detailed accounts of their experiences and most of all the down to earth hilarity they find in all kinds of trail situations and it makes me wish one of my sisters would backpack with me 😅
Molly and Carrie, in their podcast about thier Lake Tahoe Trail hike, gave us a major tip to wash our tents and lubricate the zippers (else they fail and won't zip). I appreciate that lesson learned. I've now prep'd my tent for my next thru-hike, something I would have overlooked had I not listened to their podcast.
** You two are the best; fun to listen to yet filled with very helpful facts and real-life experiences. Keep the weekly updates going!**
Just wanted to say thank you. For making this podcast. it’s easy to tell you both love the adventures so much. and have an epic knack for storytelling and going over each days or weeks adventure. I’m about to do the JMT and this was exactly the kind of podcast i was looking for. I can tell how much work goes into it. so thank you so very much.
Molly and Carrie (2 Sisters) have been podcasting for several years now and they still have their "touch" of humor, hiking tips and fun for life's experiences. This podcast is a two thumbs up!
I really liked you old break music; it really signalled a break and kinda stuck in my mind. This new musics (as of August 2024), is too soft and not memorable or "catchy"... Also, for the podcast Alpine Lakes , Robin and Tuck part 2 - where's the funny out-take at the beginning of the podcast? I really liked those out-takes. I know those likely take time to produce, but they were really funny and set the upbeat tone for the podcast. Bring them back!
