I love how real this feels, so down to earth yet humorous! When is it coming back?! More please!

Is it weird to call a post apocalyptic scenario “adorable?” The dynamic between this couple is so believable that at times it can be jarring to remember that this isn’t just a slice of life comedy, but that lives are on the line at all times! The dialogue could have been written by Richard Curtis at his quick paced sitcom best. Perfectly witty, yet dry as a bone, and always rooted in reality. Just an absolute delight to listen to!

This show is a conundrum; so we have a healthy slice of post-disaster Zombie fare. Based in Faringdon, which sounds like a fantastic holiday destination. The undead have usurped the living to take control of the surrounding area. So we have scavenging, ultra violence and despair. A horrible scenario that is surprisingly adorable thanks to our survivors, an amazing duo that tackle all their problems with a genuine wit and eschaton optimism. If you hang around the indie audio drama community on Twitter enough, you'll eventually run into Zed 1. That's because this show's creators are ardent cheerleaders for the genre, friendly, outgoing and supportive. Not only does this show that they're great people, but it comes through in their show too. A fun (and funny) turn on the zombie genre! Well written and acted, and I really enjoy the use of the news to help build the world this show exists in, great way to provide exposition

What can I say about this podcast that hasn't already been said? I could go on for hours about the juxtaposition between surviving a zombie apocalypse and marital banter, but I don't think it would do it justice!

This isn't just another zombie-centric audio drama. Zed 1 focusses in on the smaller character-centric stories that are rarely explored in this genre, and mines the comedy gold from two normal people in an extraordinary situation who are essentially just trying to get on with life.

Zombies 🧟‍♂️ were not really my thing if I'm honest, but I am so pleased I gave it a listen Zed 1 podcast is one of my favourite podcasts, it is binge worthy!!! The script is really well written, the story has a good flow and there is never a dull moment and to make it even better Aaron and Katie are so funny!

There is no better couple to share the end of the world with! This show is hilarious and heart-warming in equal measure. I love to tune in and catch up with the wonderful characters, silly misadventures and touching interactions. Definitely a 5 star podcast!

This is a lovely pod that mixes the drama of the walking dead with the mundane of the Midlands. A couple trying to make sure they survive zombies, but also that their relationship survives. 28 Days Later meets Love Actually. Enjoy!

Nice bit of escapism and comedy, really enjoy it

I like the feel of this microcosm semi post apocalyptic zombie show. I'm glad the show focus in large is on the strange and ridiculous interactions with people and the environment and not just the concept of zombies which I'm not a huge fan of. While the main characters should be concerned about the collapse of society, they would rather bicker and get stuck in sticky situations in an almost artful denial. This is a very cool show.
