Having walked with Mick and his family for a few days when completing the GR10 many years ago, I thoroughly enjoyed catching up on his and Simon’s exploits to various parts of the world. It has a perfect mix of professionalism and amateurism - well at least in their escapades. Also recommend their Backpacks, Boots and Baguettes book - you can buy it for very little from a certain retailer - maybe it is time for an updated version.

As a year 73 year old semi retired backpacker just found out about podcasts & the pleasure & memories that listening to a true traveller can invoke. He’s able to give all aspects of travel from the “old” Lonely Planet upwards. Talks about the realities of the world where if you couldn’t afford to lose things they weren’t in your backpack.
