  • Sports talk show - doesn’t work

New format is horrible for the original listeners who tuned in because it was a Sports Betting show. Now it’s a Sports Talk Show. No more Chernoff, Whale, Pizzola. Etc . Now every guest is an interview. If u want to listen to Sports Radio,, tune into Colin Cowherd who is the best. Used to listen to both ,, now it will be just Cowherd as he’s the best in sports radio. The current show has zero betting content. Nick talking about his 2 NBA bets at end of the night does not equate to a gambling/b... more

  • Not anymore

Love Nick, but without someone who actually wins bets, the show kind of stinks J. Croucher, and whale are the only people worth listening to sadly, Nick Solo just isn’t working. This new network sucks.

  • Time to move on

Bet MGM was all about sports betting with sports thrown in applied to wagering. This new abomination is nothing but a national sports talk network. Thanks but no thanks. I’ll stick to my local radio station to get my sports fill. Tried to listen to the old shows as often as possible or caught up with the podcasts before the change. Now, nope. So long.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Hour 3 - John Fanta & Joe Fortenbaugh Join the Show!
Q: Which region do you think has the strongest title probability for a final four run?
The South and East look the most interesting, with Florida and Duke having flashes but injuries complicating the picture; the West looks like Arizona and Michigan on a potential path, while KU and St. John's present unpredictable variables.
John Fanta's Tournament Picks & Breakdown
Q: This is a simple one for you. Who do you have winning the South region, which is the Florida region, obviously, with Houston as the two and Illinois the three, and why?
Houston and Illinois emerge from a back-and-forth South region narrative; Duke's health and Illinois' depth keep it competitive, but Houston's guard play and Illinois' scoring ability give them the edge to reach Indianapolis, with Duke potentially meeting Houston in a high-stakes Elite Eight, depending on health and matchups.
Full Show - 03.18.26 - Tournament Breakdown & Picks, Jaylen Waddle to the Broncos
Q: Which one-seed in the south region is most vulnerable according to the betting market?
The Florida Gators are viewed as more vulnerable than the other top seeds, with market prices suggesting Florida could get bounced earlier than Duke, Arizona, or Michigan.
Danny Parkins Talks Tournament Bets, Cade Cunningham
Q: Do you think this is going to be a chalky NCAA tournament? How do you see it playing out?
Parkins notes that the data suggests certain patterns around NIL and mid-major performance, but he remains open to underdog runs and emphasizes the importance of staying flexible with brackets due to injuries and upsets.
John Ewing's BetMGM Insight
Q: What is the most bet team to win the national championship today and why?
Miami, Ohio is the biggest liability despite their upset, with insights suggesting other top programs like Michigan, Duke, and Arizona attract high action, but risk for sportsbooks rises when notable players are out or limited.
