Fun, thoughtful and occasionally chaotic, this is a great hang out podcast for the knitter on the academic spectrum. (Yes we know you are doing a PhD, so are most of our friends. :-) We’re here for that!) Worth a listen for snips of history, well-considered values and good knit chat. No fake pod nonsense here.
I had no expectations other than “will have knitting-related content” & it has that and then some! Awesome content and discussion. Living on an island, Hawaii, makes sustainability a daily part of living. I love your banter and perspective.
I tried it, I really did but wanging on about how fabulous superwash yarn is for an entire episode to justify the tasteless tatt the male host produces is too much. The female (she’s neurodivergent you know….and she’s doing a phd) attempts to challenge him but rolls over and agrees in a faux intelligent manner.
There are better podcasts out there, these two are not as good as they think they are.
I love the dimension of this podcast, the philosophical context of craft is fascinating.
