I stumbled on this podcast because of a post I saw on Instagram. It’s absolutely the best co podcast out there. If you are interested in the history of everything garments, sewing, and fiber - this is the podcast for you. I’m 100% hooked. It’s well produced, the storytelling is superb, and the content is fascinating. Well done!
I am so enthralled with this podcast! It sheds so much light on overlooked parts of history and textile arts. The interviews are fantastic and Jo weaves a beautiful story with deep meaning through each episode. Highly highly recommend!
A friend recommended that I listened to the Haptic and Hue podcasts as I have a background in textiles and I love listening to podcasts. I am blown away by the fascinating stories of things I knew nothing about that are so interesting - so much so I have listened to about 8 episodes in less than a week. Even my husband love the stories! The Canadian Red Cross Quilt story was beautiful and bought me to tears.
If someone had wanted to create a podcast JUST FOR ME, about topics I’m interested in, in the style I like, it would be this podcast. I don’t know why it took UNTIL THIS WEEK for me to discover it, but I want nothing more than to binge the whole thing. Bravo!
I feel like I’ve stumbled into a world I didn’t know existed, and Jo takes me into such interesting places. Authentic, full of warmth and sympathy, and deep appreciation of fibers and the people involved in those fibers.
