正港相對的就是偏港，什麼是正港? 就是大港口，是政府允許外國商品進口的港口；偏港就是小港口，在過去常常是走私的港口，以前人說要落跑就要去布袋港就是這個意思。偏港的商品也常常有仿冒品，因為早期的舶來品通常稀有也價高，得經過合法的管道進出，仿冒品因為質地較粗通常都是偏港進出，所以早期正正當當從臺灣港(今安平港)或是鹿港、淡水港進來的貨品就稱為正港的。因此正港也引伸出正宗、高級的意思。港的意思除了港口，還有區域；如下港指南部地區，地名；如北港、南港，一港風的港是量詞。

大聲公你好，我是臺東大學兒童文學研究所的學生，我有一些和臺語語詞相關的問題想請問大聲公；有一次我上臺語課時，老師利用臺語繪本講故事，繪本中有一句話：「老婆仔行出來門跤口貓貓看」請問大聲公，臺語為什麼要說「貓貓看」，而不是「狗狗看」、「直直看」或是「猴猴看」呢？麻煩大聲公替我解答，謝謝！
