自從看到朋友打瘦瘦針後有顯著的瘦身成果，說不羨慕實在騙人，宜蘭也好想回到產前的體重。對運動有著崇高信念的烏卻覺得，身邊一堆根本不胖的人都在打瘦瘦針，實在很沒必要！劃世代的減重藥物「瘦瘦針」的出現，又激起了一波對健康、審美、自我認同的想法激盪，它的出現同時帶給經濟、社會、政治與科學研究不同變化。

本集是2025年年底訪問完藍佩嘉老師之後錄的。原因是因為當時烏烏邊讀《成為「新二代」：多元文化與地緣政治下的跨國婚姻子女》每天都跟宜蘭說自己淚流滿面，好想跟聽友分享這個心情。而宜蘭也在讀書前，一場路邊的募款邀約的奇遇，開啟了對自己膝反射的刻板印象認真反省。新年真是太適合自我反省了。
