  • Very poor choice of guests

Anthony has repeatedly invited Marko Papic, a “geopolitical strategist” to the program. He allowed this incompetent, overconfident charlatan to rant about topics that he knows little about.

The recent podcast was particularly obnoxious. Papic ranted about the Russia-Ukraine war even though he was wildly wrong about the conflict, including that Russia would invade in the first place. Where is the research and fact-checking? Anthony completed failed.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Everyone Says AI is a Bubble. Daniel Lacalle Disagrees
Q: What is the core takeaway for listeners watching markets right now?
Don't assume collapse is imminent; focus on money supply growth and data-driven monetary policy rather than central bank rhetoric.
Everyone Says AI is a Bubble. Daniel Lacalle Disagrees
Q: When would value stocks or traditional plays rise compared to this tech-driven rally?
Value investing requires catalysts and improved returns on invested capital; the guest argues that value won't rise merely due to market optimism and that beneficiaries will be those that strengthen ROIC and reduce debt, rather than chasing expensive acquisitions.
Everyone Says AI is a Bubble. Daniel Lacalle Disagrees
Q: Do you think AI is at risk of losing steam given the high capital expenditure and valuations?
The guest distinguishes between elevated valuations and a bubble, arguing that AI capex is linked to cash-flow generation and not a simple bubble. He notes hyperscalers have strong balance sheets and real demand, and that capital spending will be disciplined if returns are material.
Stock Market Crash Worse than 2008 - Here's What's Coming | Henrik Zeberg
Q: What is the single most important takeaway you want listeners to remember from this discussion?
Study the tech bubble of 2000 and understand that earnings alone won't justify valuations; the economy can deteriorate while asset prices remain elevated, underscoring the need for prudence and a focus on real fundamentals rather than headlines.
Stock Market Crash Worse than 2008 - Here's What's Coming | Henrik Zeberg
Q: Do you see it being as long as 2008, and what tools might policymakers deploy to reverse the downturn quickly?
The tools may be deployed quickly, but the effectiveness is questionable because debt dynamics have worsened; QE and rate cuts might not salvage demand if the psychology of consumers remains damaged and labor markets worsen.
