  • I used to listen to your podcasts. Not anymore

Too much bitcoin-too much gambling and not investing! In my opinion. You are targeting the young and desperate or the young and no clue! Not me! If I want to gamble, I can do it somewhere else as there is no basis for any analysis on bitcoin as it is based on nothing and can be used on almost nothing!

Market Crash In 2026? Chief Economist Reveals A New 3-Year Cycle | Anna Wong
Q: How long could the current CapEx cycle last and what does that imply for growth?
CapEx tends to run in a roughly six-year cycle (three years up, three years down), and we are at the early stage of a new cycle, implying there could be at least another one to two years of sustained investment and growth.
Market Crash In 2026? Chief Economist Reveals A New 3-Year Cycle | Anna Wong
Q: What changed investors' minds after the Iran war and the initial slowdown fears to drive markets to all-time highs?
Two key factors: a surprisingly strong consumption backdrop aided by policy tailwinds (like the one big beautiful bill and tariff refunds) and a robust earnings season that showed AI demand outpacing supply, mitigating oil-price-driven recession fears.
Market Crash In 2026? Chief Economist Reveals A New 3-Year Cycle | Anna Wong
Q: Why do inflation expectations seem to rise while the anticipated slowdown diminishes?
Inflation expectations are peaking in the near term, but the economy remains strong enough to absorb shocks, and earnings season shows demand outpacing supply in AI-related sectors, which supports a more resilient growth outlook.
This Market Is ‘Exceedingly Rare’; When Does The ‘Tipping Point’ Hit? | Cem Karsan
Q: How do policy signals influence markets in this scenario?
Policy signals, including coordinated messaging and liquidity management by the government and central banks, appear to be used as tools to influence market expectations and to push prices higher during periods of stress.
This Market Is ‘Exceedingly Rare’; When Does The ‘Tipping Point’ Hit? | Cem Karsan
Q: What is about to happen next?
The guest suggests the highest probability is for continued liquidity-driven squeezing and that the broader market supports liquidity into a deteriorating structural picture, with caution about timing and potential for a peak after the summer.
