I never miss an episode! Simply the best screenwriting podcast out there, whether you’re a new writer or a seasoned pro. The hosts are knowledgeable, funny, and have great chemistry - so you never feel like you’re listening to a dry lecture, but instead hanging out with movie-loving friends.
Love the show
This is my no. 1 podcast because it hits the trifecta — it’s entertaining, it’s informative, and more than that it gets my butt in the seat to put words on the page. The advice is useful without being prescriptive. I am either gaining new insights into movies that I love, or I’m discovering reasons to check out movies I’ve missed.
There’s no greater pleasure than hearing smart writers break down movies from an analytical point of view, referencing tools we all know and use in our craft, and sharing their opinions about what works and what doesn’t in an honest and open discussion. A breath of fresh air from all the other noise on socials and YouTube. This is my new favourite podcast as a writer and director! Keep up the great work team.
