This week we are still with Mat, watching reality fall apart and also going on first dates in dive bars. The letter is finally revealed! Tuon gets a beer foam mustache. more
This week we are still with Mat and his merry band of Demandreds, Dragons, and Derricks. Aradia and Seth each take offense to a different aspect of Tuon, from RJ’s vague knowledge about tailoring to in-world superstitions. more
This week we are with Mat, who does some things we love and some things we very much do not love. We talk about birds, horses, and chemistry. The prose is so lovely that we got through two chapters in one episode! more
This week we join Faile in Malden, where a variety of uncomfortable things happen, not least of which is Seth utterly shattering Aradia’s interpretation of the the three ripples. more

Please take this honestly and not a reactionary response, I’ve been listening for years and will continue because of the analysis and insight of the hosts, but for the love of god the political tangents (or any non WOT tangent) have got to stop. Around the time Patrick left, however, the show lost its focus. I love Aradia as a host, but her and Seth just don’t focus on the actual chapter. It started to feel like half of the episode was just unrelated or loosely related tangents about random things, or even worse political rants that are inc... more
Loved it when Patrick was on board. They really focused on a particular chapter. But then would give occasional in-site on the series. After Patrick left the show episodes got really long. Adria is knowledgeable, and I don’t have an issue with her at all. But many times they get off topic. And I hate when the have to explain how the book “had not aged well” when they don’t agree with something. Or have to talk politics. If I want a sermon I will go to church. Not listen to a podcast on ... more
Books 1-5…perfection. Seth and Patrick had such a great dynamic and I loved the direction of their conversations. more
In its early days, this was a fun podcast that delved into the myriad layers of the rich world, characters and narrative of the Wheel of Time. I was often impressed by their thoughtful analysis, which allowed me to see the story from angles that i hadn't previously considered. more
