This podcast has helped me love the Wheel of Time! Dani and Brett’s discussions make the characters feel (sometimes frustratingly) more realistic and human but also more lovable. I’ve been listening along as I read the series for the first time and I finally caught up to the podcast. The spoiler-free up to the chapter they are covering is wonderful and feels like a book club. Bring on the last battle! Can’t wait to finish the series with them.

I recently finished the Wheel of Time series after avoiding it for YEARS for no real reason. Once I finished I was starved for someone to talk to about this, just all the things! I started listening on Knife of Dreams. Dani and Brett make going through these books so much fun and highlight things I missed, while also making me laugh when a character just isn’t it *cough* Gawyn. This pod is probably not for me. I’m looking for a spoiler-free pod for first time readers that goes into the lore and explains the characters and plot points/threads I forget from previous books/chapters.
This pod is one host with all the info trying to patiently explain everything while the other host who has never read the books constantly derailing the conversation with non-sequiturs.
