Never thought you can learn so much in seconds. Can't wait for more podcasts.
I'm only 10 and it is good super !:) :D
As a foodie - I really enjoyed your behind-the-scenes look at grilling at home and dining in the dark (that would certainly heighten my senses!!).
Thank you for posting these clips on iTunes. Your voice is very soothing and I love adding words to my vocab. Will continue to listen. Keep 'em coming!
Carolyn Davidson clearly has the best voice in radio today.
I don't dare use most of your words related to food because I might misspell them! I wanted you to know that if you go to Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota you are a "Cobber" as an upperclassman, and a "Kernel" if you are a freshman. Of course that doesn't have much to do with food except the Cobbers have corn feeds all over the Central Midwest.... Keep up your interesting programs........
Learning mellifluous words that you can actually use is like finding what fine wine really tastes like with the proper food. Carolyn expands your taste in words with everyday examples and good doses of humor. She makes you want to find out about other words and their origins.
I have heard Bill O'Reilly use some interesting words at the end of his broadcast but definitely not as interesting as these. As a mom, I was pleased to know that the 5 second rule has some truth to it. Loved hearing the history behind different foods - my friends in the Restaurant biz will love this. She obviously does ALOT of research. I'd love to have her as the Deipnosophist (to quote Ms. Davidson) at my next dinner party.
