I still remember when I found this pod at their beginning. I’ve been a weekly listener since. There are many podcasts now featuring current and former pro athletes (which I also love!) but Women’s Sports Weekly offers a relatable fan perspective to fellow fans. I enjoy hearing other fans notice the same things I do. I wholeheartedly recommend this pod to anyone I know and would encourage all fans to do the same!
Carolyn and Danielle do a great job covering all the major headlines while also diving deeper into the topics that really matter. The hosts bring their own personality and perspective, which adds a nice personal touch and makes the listen super enjoyable!
I just found this podcast and absolutely love that they are a queer couple promoting women’s sports. They are well researched and introduce me to sports that I know less about like lacrosse and ultimate frisbee.
Carolyn & Danielle are such passionate fans but also take the time to explain the games, the analysis, the excitement, and the drama. I love the deep dives as a way to learn more about the permeation of sports into everyday life. Big fan
They don’t pretend to know things, they just know them. They are super knowledgeable and fun to listen to and I love the angles they cover.
