I’m a fan, but there have been a lot of Zena soapbox/ monologue minutes in the shows as of late, at the expense of usual discussion and reporting. I like Zena! But the balance is off.
“The hypocrisy is fascinating” escaping Zena’s mouth when she refuses to hold any space for any part Angel ever plays in her circumstances when previously talking about respecting vets when referring to other other fan bases 😂
Longtime women’s basketball fan here! I love the nuanced analysis! Most WBB podcasts (don’t get me wrong, there are some good ones out there) just have opinion and banter. The professionalism and knowledge here is presented in such a way that I always LEARN something new every time! It’s clear you do your homework before each recording. You are ALWAYS my first listen. Keep it up everybody!!!
Simply the best—blends regular updates with longer think piece style topics. Chemistry between hosts is on point.
My question for the panel: what team construction rule would you change? My vote would be either to allow players to be cored only once, followed by putting expansion teams in the lottery with odds to move up, as it would make the assets expansion teams have more interesting. For instance, if GS got a top pick, maybe they are in the Plum trade instead of LA. Thanks!
I have been a casual fan of the WNBA for awhile but have dived into serious fandom this season. No off season has been a great companion to get into it. The game stats, standings and keeping up with league news is unparalleled. Done with professionalism and fun. I look forward to each episode. Thanks Zena, Ben and Sabreena. Keep it up!
