Excellent!
Hi! I have really loved this podcast in the past, so I’ve tried to get on board when Annie joined the show, but ultimately I think it’s time to part ways until Annie is off the show or develops her takes better. She can be quite emotionally reactive and sometimes catty in her responses, and she often centers herself in situations that are about the basketball or the players. She also sometimes interrupts Zena and Sabreena or can go off on long tangents and it messes with the flow of the show. I ... more
Pretty fun show! I love hearing the hearing more about the wnba history and stats I wasn’t aware of. Giving it a 3 cause it’s a pod with all the history and knowledge just to arrive at terrible conclusions. I’m 10000% sure they failed their research class.
This has been my go-to basketball pod for the last couple years with great analysis and ways for me to catch up on games in the W. I held on after Ben left as the amount of analysis and basketball knowledge dipped, loved the addition of Layshia but still felt like the pod needed another basketball mind to bring back the details. Was previously the gold standard for women’s basketball podcasts. Fair and balanced and knowledgeable commentary. The episode on trading cards with Annemarie was excellent. Once Ben left this turned into a tabloid rag. With biased takes and no data or facts to support claims. It is more about the drama of things and it is clear certain players are more liked than others. Do not listen if you dare to be a fan of Caitlin Clark for instance.
