  • Multitasking while recording?

Listening is like you are on a work call and the other side is busy. Cups in the kitchen. Typing. Wild. Maybe put that on pause while you record.

  • Lots of production issues

Solid content, sound quality is pretty bad. Some of the guests seem distracted, you can often hear the clicks of a computer keyboard or mouse. Production wise it’s pretty distracting.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

#230 Why So Many Women Don’t Understand Their Financial Reality Until Divorce with Marissa Greco
Q: How should a woman approach asset division to avoid long-term penalties?
Consider the after-tax impact of asset splits, not just the nominal split. For example, retirement assets are taxed differently than cash, and selling real estate later can incur capital gains. A balanced mix of assets—liquid and non-liquid—helps sustain finances.
#229 Why Traditional Family Law Often Fails Women — And What Needs to Change
Q: How does having information and community support change the experience of divorce?
Education and a supportive network reduce isolation, improve decision quality, and help clients secure outcomes that reflect their true needs and long-term wellbeing.
#229 Why Traditional Family Law Often Fails Women — And What Needs to Change
Q: What changes would you like to see to better support women through divorce?
Reducing mandatory separation periods, increasing access to funding for legal representation, and trauma-informed training for judges and lawyers to recognize coercive control and domestic violence.
#228 Why Smart, Successful Women Still Get Emotionally Manipulated with Mishel Rych PhD.
Q: What practical steps can someone take to rebuild trust in their own judgment after leaving an abusive relationship?
Start with small decisions to retrain the brain, seek safe relationships to test trust, and write down experiences to gain clarity and recognize genuine intuition.
#228 Why Smart, Successful Women Still Get Emotionally Manipulated with Mishel Rych PhD.
Q: What is a trauma bond, and why does it feel so powerful?
A trauma bond is formed when the person who hurts you also becomes the person who heals you, creating biochemical reward cycles (oxytocin and dopamine) that mimic addiction and make separation painful.
