Am listening to her recent recordings and she’s now on my saved show list. Comforting and encouraging and if I could have someone like this coaching me through it all, I’d happily pay for it.
Listened to an episode for about 10 seconds and turned it off. Loud and obnoxious “hey girlfriend” style!!
Episode 333 was powerful. As someone who has lived through a coercively controlling relationship, I know how confusing the gaslighting and silent treatment feel when you are inside it. I’m so glad I found this podcast. Kate keeps it honest and down-to-earth, and her advice really hits home. If you’re just starting to question their relationship or already thinking seriously about divorce, this show offers the support and clarity you need. Anytime a friend, colleague, or client is in that place, this is the first podcast I send them.
Great topics and guests but she laughs a lot and seems dismissive of the grave impact divorce has on families. She skips over the hard parts a lot. And presents hypotheticals that are unlikely and often times unrelated to the topic at hand.
