Jarvis Cocker and the wireless nights team know what’s important in life - the appreciation of the everyday (or every night) and the beauty of our planet in all its forms.
I look forward to a new series of these nocturnal adventures.
I have been listening to this collection every night before sleep for what must be several years now. I can’t think of anything else comparable and am only worried that one day they will cease to be! There’s something both soothing and imaginative about them and it feels like you are accompanying Jarvis on his nocturnal haunts. Irreplaceable for insomnia.
To all my fellow insomniacs, here lies solace. Welcome back to the air ways, Jarvis. Thank you for returning in these dark days.
I love how Jarvis talks to us as the listener while also mixing interesting night time related stories with eerie soundscapes. It is both atmospheric and comforting. I re-listen to the episodes when I can’t sleep. Please keep them coming. Best listened to at night.
Sublime listening.
