Honestly, no need to go looking for other Wings podcasts. The guys cover it all and follow Mickey’s Golden Rule of Educate & Entertain. Always recommend to fellow out of town fans. Max Bultman being a regular guest makes this an 11/10.
Some out of towners who do as they’re told by the front office to keep their podcast night at the arena it seems. They’re not very critical of Yzermans failures.
I’ve been a fan of the Red Wings since the “Dead Things” era in the early 1980s all the way through the glory years and back into the current playoff drought. I discovered the podcast a few years ago and it’s a must listen twice weekly during the season. The guys recap each game, provide details and insights that are valuable even if you watched each one, then discuss broader trends with the team and finally cover big NHL storylines so you know what’s going on in the league as well.
