The Red Wings have no scoring down their forward group and no ability to score on odd man rushes. The Red Wings commit simple mistakes that prove largely costly. The Red Wings allowed 5 goals in the 3rd to the LAST PLACE Nashville Predators, a team t... more
The Detroit Red Wings have been playing the most consistent hockey they have in years. But they still are not without flaw. One of those flaws is how thin their defense is past the top pair. Is there more cavalry on the way? Or can they maximize what... more
Travis Hamonic had one of the worst defensive games i've seen, and it hurt the Red Wings at every turn. Despite that, Detroit carried the game and pushed real hard to comeback, but just fell shot. Tempers flared between the teams too as New Jersey to... more
The Red Wings made a late comeback over the Blue Jackets thanks to third period goals from Ben Chiarot and Moritz Seider, but could not have been possible without Cam Talbot making a huge save on shorthanded breakaway just prior to the game-tying goa... more

I’ve given this show an honest try for a while now and while I respect their hustle it’s pretty amateur at best. One dude doesn’t even use a microphone and it just sounds like you’re listening to a zoom call. And it’s a call between two guys who’ve read the NHL rule book and latest headlines but still have no idea how to pronounce a solid 73.6% of the players names or formulate a genuine thought on the game. Only the results of said game can be heard. There is a lot of , nasally guy - “what can... more
Generally good talk, but they repeat themselves and say ‘like’ too much - it often sounds like they didn’t prepare for the podcast at all.
They really do give a bleep about what they’re doing daily. Real insight and good points. Both Scotty and Brian have been a major part of my mornings for years
Scotty and Brian are good enough to be added to a daily rotation if you love the Wings. The frequent uploads are nice and they are one of the best of the LOPN shows, but they leave a lot to be desired when it comes to Wings focused shows overall. Most shows are often way too emotionally driven and they often have the most seemingly casual takes, which after a bad loss or when on the losing streak makes this show near unbearable to listen to.
Brian and Scotty do a pretty good job at covering the games and finding topics to talk about during the offseason and between games. However there are some episodes where Scotty is so pessimistic about every topic, that I can’t even finish an episode. I feel if he could be more of a half glass full kind of host, this would be 5 star show.
