Wild Things: Siegfried & Roy

If you’ve ever fantasized about having a big cat if your own and admired entertainers and their big cats, this podcast is a must. After listening I understand the attack more thoroughly. Great breakdown of the events that transpired before, during, and after Roy’s infamous attack. Even if I could afford the luxury of satisfying my own fantasy of having a big cat if my own, I now know better than to bring a wild animal as large as a Tiger into my home or neighborhood! Enjoyed this immensely.

I have vivid memories of being a kid and seeing Siegfried and Roy on my many trips to Vegas. Although I didn’t know how it was before, I can attest to that time where Vegas turned into a “family friendly” place for a short time. I can picture the tigers at the mirage and my sensitivity to them being behind the cage. This podcast exposed the glam I thought existed, and the animal manipulation I maybe knew deep down. I binged this walk down memory lane and highly recommend!

Excellent storytelling! Most of us have heard bits and pieces about this pair and their show, but I have been so enlightened with the many details of their history and the rise and fall of one of Las Vegas’s most popular entertainment.

This is one of the best podcasts that I have listened to. It was thoroughly researched and presented an objective view of the lives of Sigfried and Roy as well as the incident in question. It did not present just the good stuff or just the bad stuff. The host was pleasant to listen to. Either there weren’t commercials or they were extremely minimal.

The podcast does a great job looking at all aspects of the duo. While respectfully walking through different allegations and maintaining the magic of the show. 10/10 recommend.

This is really interesting, and I'm enjoying it, but the host's misuse of "quote-unquote" is starting to be like fingernails on a chalkboard. That's not what "quote-unquote" means, my guy, and it makes you sound less knowledgeable than you otherwise would.

I started this show with some hope that I would gain new insights on Siegfried

I was hooked 10 mins in. I knew of the entertainers and of the incident but loved getting the full story. I’ve always been fascinated by exotics and love good investigative journalism, this it the mark for both!

Why even go there with the assault accusations that are never proven?! Innocent until proven guilty!
