  • Charlatanism is not legitimate policy making

Is big pharma motivated by greed? Sure. Is America's health bad relative to its wealth? Yes. Does any of that suddenly mean paranoid laypeople like RFK Jr and every other "wellness" expert who has no professional medical training have the legitimate authority to dictate health policy? No. Internet access and half-baked Facebook medical conspiracies do not make you a medical expert. If you want to kid yourself into denying all of the lives saved by vaccines over the last hundred years plea... more

  • Pretentious Hosts

I’m having a hard time getting through this podcast. As someone who has lost trust in the mainstream health system, I find the inherent elitist attitude of these people to be off putting. I appreciate the attempts to understand MAHA but they’re still missing the mark. It just seems like a strategy and not genuine. No thanks! That just makes you part of the problem.

  • "Tested against placebo"

This is wrong. So frustrating to hear people state as fact what they clearly aren't informed about. You don't realize your bias but this has been clearly explained by RFK and DarkHorse pod hosts among others.

Would be better if you questioned your "known facts" before stating as if they're true when perhaps you haven't yet awakened to reality.

Also the female moderator makes herself sound like a complete idiot throughout the interview. Interrupting to divert from important points and "yo" and ... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Is Our Overuse of Plastics Causing Fertility Issues? A Conversation w Dr. Shanna Swan and Dr. Jasmine McDonald
Q: What can individuals do to reduce exposure without panic?
Individuals can swap out high-exposure products, use safer alternatives (e.g., wooden spoons, non-plastic containers), check for and avoid known disruptors in daily products, and leverage available toolkits or resources to minimize exposure; these changes can yield measurable reductions in biomarkers within days.
Is Our Overuse of Plastics Causing Fertility Issues? A Conversation w Dr. Shanna Swan and Dr. Jasmine McDonald
Q: What is the basic science behind plastics disrupting hormones, and how might this affect fertility?
Endocrine-disrupting chemicals in plastics can mimic or block hormone signals, driving abnormal cell proliferation during critical development windows and altering puberty timing, sperm development, and reproductive organ formation; the evidence includes animal data, human biomarker studies, and epidemiological links that suggest a real, though complex, impact on fertility.
Measles in America: Who Actually Are the Unvaccinated? A Conversation w Health Workers from Spartanburg, SC and West Texas
Q: What have you learned about public health strategy during these outbreaks that could inform future actions?
Strategies must be stratified by community risk, involve community health workers from within affected groups, and balance quarantine with keeping children in school when possible while protecting vulnerable populations; real-time collaboration with public health and clinics is essential.
Measles in America: Who Actually Are the Unvaccinated? A Conversation w Health Workers from Spartanburg, SC and West Texas
Q: How do you talk to families who are hesitant about vaccinating their children?
Approach with non-judgmental, empathetic communication, acknowledge concerns, provide clear risk-benefit information, and involve trusted community figures to relay messages; build trust by showing care and practical steps (e.g., home care, vaccination timing after exposure).
Measles in America: Who Actually Are the Unvaccinated? A Conversation w Health Workers from Spartanburg, SC and West Texas
Q: What are you seeing in South Carolina in terms of who is getting measles and why?
Most cases are among the unvaccinated, with a mix of private schools, homeschooling groups, and tight-knit immigrant communities contributing to pockets of low vaccination rates; reasons include religious beliefs, misinformation, and concerns rooted in prior experiences.
