She asks her guests endearingly specific questions about their dogs, like the most expensive thing they’ve ever destroyed, where they sleep at night and whether they’ve ever done anything noble, embarrassing or hilarious. Also: how they’ve changed lives,... more

I’m not even a dog owner, and I find this podcast immensely valuable. Listening to these conversations has changed my understanding of dog relationships. I’m a psychotherapist, and people often bring dog dynamics into sessions. Sometimes, actual dogs appear too. The love and affection and attachment is profound and I don’t think I’d considered the significance sufficiently until listening to these stories. Bright and jaunty, this podcast gives me a pep in my step. More please!
I loved Kate Leaver’s incredibly heart warming book “Good Dog”. This podcast is the most perfect, sweet continuation of that, where she just chats to a bunch of people (who happen to be famous) about their dogs and their lives. A very soothing, lovely, and often funny listen. Also I want to meet her dog Bert so badly!
Lovely podcast! 😊
