An amazing journey through the creation and early years of Dungeons and Dragons. I was captivated by the real life characters, and amazed at what all Gary Gygax did and went through. I highly recommend this oral history. I have only played DnD a few times over the years and it was a blast to listen to.
This show does a fantastic job of illustrating a group of real people going through real things. The rise and fall of TSR is the story of the people who created it. Even if you are not a gamer it’s a great cautionary tale for any small business operator.
Unique insight, well produced. I love it.
First I watched The Great Kingdom then I listened to this series. WOW! This was so informative and surprising on many levels. My jaw dropped many times while listening. I really hope they continue the journey further.
This was one of the best podcasts about the history of DnD I’ve listened to!
