Love once meant kisses, holding hands. Now love means distance, and hugs are bombs. My name is Lux ATL, and I am a writer, former professor, and lifelong exotic dancer turned head priestess of sensual awakening. From wild nights in the jungles of Bali, to long months locked down at home, these are my stories of heartbreaking desire and degenerate exploits in a socially-distant world.

It had finally happened, just as I'd secretly feared. I could not get home after all. See me then, a lone woman, sat in the middle of a busy airport, her suitcase open and spilled everywhere, sobbing bitterly into a stuffed animal as hundreds step ar... more
People in this airport—were not doing well. Some were weeping into their phones, scrolling, tapping for a solution that would not come. Some called their loved ones, uttering words that made my guts churn—words like, "my ticket is worthless," words l... more

Picture it: it is October 2019, and we're not afraid to touch. Six women tangle together on a bed in the heat of a New Orleans fall. I peddle in the flesh and in the spirit. I am a preacher, and I am a whore. I move spirits with my body. I tried to e... more

She is a mix of O Henry and Hunter S Thompson. The South of Walker Percy, her English doctorate shows through her story telling. Raw but refined… enjoy her stories.
I love listening to Lux- makes me think, challenges me, and is always eye opening and raw. Her podcasts are great - the way she speaks and tells her stories is endlessly charming and awakening. These stories are delicious and thoughtful and full of imagery.
Every episode is so raw with emotion, evocative of times past and times that may be. I can’t stop listening and can’t wait for more!
Once I started listening I could not stop. This brilliant piece of art is riveting, honest, and brave. Lux ATL is not afraid to open up and tell these stories of touch and intimacy. It’s a breath of fresh air in these uncertain times of non touch and isolation.
Having followed Lux ATL evolve over the years I am elated by this podcast. Continue to transgress society and thank you for being us with you. ✨
I thought the first podcast was the best thing I’d ever heard, which it was but wow, this one takes the cake. I could listen to her speak forever. Raw, intelligent, sensual. Pure fire. I am so thankful she is making podcasts again! Modern counter-culture poetic story weaver. Do not miss this magic.
Smart! Lux is analytical, thoughtful, reflective. When I found this podcast, I was shocked by how creative content is. I didn’t know who lux was at that time so I had nothing to go off of just downloaded everything with the tag stripper and this gem was in here ! Great show keep it up rated and review her ! Wow. Just listened to When We Could Touch: Love Stories From the Time of Covid ep. 2: Bali. Very Raw. Very Real. Very beautiful. Captivating. Lux describes Bali stripper retreat realness in her sultry, sexy, smokey voice. The content. So valuable. Must listen.
I haven’t been following Lux ATL for too long on IG, but ever since I have, her content is seriously my daily dose! This podcast is a relief to me as I’m reminded I’m not alone and feel like I’m losing everything including my own mind during this pandemic. I also gave Lux’s other podcast Stripcast, a listen and it’s interesting, deep, dark, and real AF. You won’t regret diving into Lux ATL’s creativity.
Lux does it again, Covid style this time, and brings her intelligence and honesty together in this new podcast series. It’s not one to listen to with your kids around (or sheik I drove around my small town with the windows open and the volume apparently high enough that people could hear...sorry not sorry) but if you need 20 minutes at a time to find a space where all of your feelings and emotions are allowed and accepted, this is the place. From discussing the beauty of togetherness and expl... more
Lux is such a force to be reckoned with! Her words hit you in all the right places, all the feels. If you’re not following her you should be!!!!
I listened to all Lux’s Stripcast podcasts, and am excited to see where the rest of these ones go, as well. Lux is a brilliant storyteller and tells her stories with such honesty and vulnerability. Listen to it; you won’t regret it. These are such a testament to preCOVID life. Thanks Lux for more authentic and vulnerable art!
If you’re looking for a podcast to leave an impression on your train of thought, you’ve come to the right place.
Buckle up and get ready for the delivery of a lifetime from a woman who changes lives overnight... for a living.
