Hi mommy
I’m an Israeli that has listened to your podcast from the beginning. I especially like it because it’s not about taking sides, but making available the human side of these turbulent years. It has not only informed me of the atmosphere that the Jewish community is living in the diaspora, but has told the remarkable stories of Israeli’s surrounding me. Thank you for your compassionate interviews and your wonderful music at the end of every episode.

Across episodes, listeners encounter frontline healthcare workers navigating trauma and ethical tensions, survivors sharing memories of loss and resilience, activists recounting diaspora work and political advocacy, and ordinary people guarding routines and dignity under siege. The conversations blend personal narrative with broader social questions—memory, identity, interfaith dialogue, and the role of art in processing collective grief—creating a compassionate, multi-perspective portrait of a society under pressure. A standout thread across episodes is the emphasis on humility, empathy, and the healing... more
