Mostly an interesting podcast with well thought out debate. I do question a lot what you say about genocide. If decades of oppression and bias, and then such extreme cruelty and killing was done to Jewish people, you would speak so differently. it doesn't diminish the horror of the terrorism against the Jewish people, to say that what has been done to the Palestinians is categorically wrong. I can’t thank you enough for taking on this topic—two communities that have had so much in common and yet have had different trajectories. The moral understandings of my early life in Detroit were in the shadow of the Holocaust (and earlier pogroms) and Jim Crow, and then the rising of both communities in the Civil Rights movement and the birth of the state of Israel.
